  • 1. How to perform Factory Data Reset?
     

    1.Click on Start option and Power icon, then press and hold on Shift key, and click Restart at the same time.
    2.As a new window screen appears, choose Troubleshoot, and then click ok.

    7.After click on restart it will take 30 or 40 min to reinstall Windows.
    This process will erase all data on your system. Make sure your system is plugged in and does not power off during the reset.

  • 2. How to Enter BIOS Configuration?
     

    To enter in BIOS setup you need to restart your device and continue press ‘ESC’ key for 5-10 seconds.

  • 3. Is Office included for free with Windows 10 in ZED Series?
     

    Yes, Office 365 version will be free for one month from the date of activation. You just have to login with your Microsoft/Hotmail mail ID to activate this service for one month and after one month completion you can buy license key from direct Microsoft or check with a local retailer.

  • 4. Can install Windows 7 or 8 ?
     

    No, you can’t downgrade this to Windows 7 or 8 because this device comes with pre-configured Windows 10 OS, if you are doing so then might be some function and features will not work and it may void warranty of your device.

  • 5. What to do when keyboard and mouse pad got stuck and not working?
     

    Please follow the instructions If keyboard or mouse not working in ZED series.
    First you need to open the on-screen-keyboard from the ease of use menu.
    Instruction:
    1.Open run option from window bar and type regedit.
    2.Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    3.SYSTEM
    4.CurrentControlSet
    5.Services
    6.i8042prt,
    7.Start
    8.Right click
    9.Modify
    10.Value data

  • 6. Is RAM memory expandable in ZED Series devices?
     

    No, RAM memory is not expandable in ZED Series because in ZED Series devices RAM memory is mounted on PCB and it is not detachable.

  • 7. Is ROM memory expandable in ZED Series?
     

    No, ROM Memory is not expandable in ZED Series devices; however you can expand it with external hard drive up to 1TB.

  • 8. My Windows 10 is not activated in ZED Series?
     

    ZED Series devices comes with pre-installed Windows 10 OS, and when you are turning ‘ON’ your device at the very first time connect the device with internet or Wi-Fi, it will automatically activate your Windows.

  • 9. Where can I buy I-Life Spare Parts?
     

    You can purchase parts and accessories at I-Life Authorized Service Centers.

  • 10. Where can I buy I-Life products?
     

    I-Life products are available across major Electronics Retailers, Hyper markets and Online E-tailers.

  • 11. PC cannot connect to the wireless network
     

    - Locate the “Internet Access” option on right hand bottom side of your screen. This could be an image of an airplane Mode or a wireless signal.
    - This enables or disables “airplane mode” and turns off wireless and Bluetooth on the device.
    - If the wireless signal is turned on, try connecting to the Internet again.
    - If the wireless signal is turned off, press the button or key again to turn it back ON, then try connecting to the Internet again.

  • 12. Unable to turn on the I-Life laptop
     

    If you cannot turn on the I LIFE laptop, you can refer to the solution below based on the situation you encounter.

    Power light is the judging point which indicates why you cannot turn on laptop.

    Power light is ON, please refer to solution #1

    Power light is OFF, please refer to solution #2

              Solution #1：

    "Power light is ON" means power cord and adapter is normally working but device fails to boot due to disfunction of other major components.

    Keep the I Life Laptop for charging for 30Mins.

    Please remove all portable external devices, such as USB, memory card, internet cable, HDMI, etc.

              Solution #2：

    "Power light is OFF" means no power supplied by adapter or major components might be abnormally working and fails to boot

    Please check whether connector of adapter is loose or not.

    Please check the same at different charging point /s .

    Please visit to nearest I LIFE Service Centre for more support required .

  • 13. How to use adapter for I LIFE LAPTOP ?
     

    Instruction of adapter

    Please use I LIFE original adapter for your laptop to avoid compatibility issue.

    Try not to place the adapter on floor while in use. Wheel of office chair also easily damages the cable and leads to short circuit or loose contact for cable.

    Do not use different adapters as plug in different sizes of connector might cause damage.

    Even though the size of DC Jack is the same, please ensure the spec of adapter is the same.

     

  • 14. Sound problem for I LIFE Laptop - Built-in Speaker lost its function .
     

    Check whether the status of speaker is "mute"

    Click the "volume" icon at the right bottom corner of desktop toolbar

    Check if its "mute". Below image (left) mute; (right) normal

    Test by raising the volume .

    Check whether the Device Manager is normally working and appear with exclamation mark

    Start menu -> Control Panel -> Device Manager

    Check whether it appears with the exclamation mark

    If there is, it's suggested that download the latest Audio driver from I LIFE official website and install or visit to nearest service center to fix the issue .

    Your I LIFE Laptop serial number is located on a label on the bottom of your product .

  • 16. How to Uninstall Programs on Windows 10?
     

    - Process to Uninstall programs on windows 10: -

    1. Open the Settings app (using the Windows Key + I shortcut if you like).
    2. Select Apps.
    3. On the Apps & Features tab, you’ll see a list of all your installed programs. Click one, then select Uninstall to remove it.
    4. Follow the steps for that particular app’s uninstaller and reboot your computer if prompted.
  • 17. How to Boot in Safe Mode on Windows 10?
     
    1. At the Start Menu or login screen, click the Power button.
    2. Hold Shift, then click on the Restart entry.
    3. When Windows 10 asks you to select an option, choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options.
    4. On the Advanced Options screen, select Startup Settings.
    5. Click the Restart button.
    6. Once Windows 10 reboots, you’ll see a Startup Settings screen and must press a number key to get into Safe Mode. Press 4 for Safe Mode or 5 for Safe Mode with Networking.

    1. In the Start Menu, search for administrative and open Administrative Tools.
    2. Open the Services utility.
    3. Scroll down to the Windows Update listing. Right-click it and choose Properties.
    4. You can also change the Startup type to Disabled to prevent it from running next time you reboot.

    Space issue: - Customer can cleanup space through below procedure for better performance: -

    • Remove temporary files: - Windows + R -> type “temp” -> Delete all the files with Shift + Delete and Windows + R -> type “%temp%” -> Delete all the files with Shift + Delete
    • Remove prefetch files: - Windows + R -> type “prefetch” -> Delete all the files with Shift + Delete
    • Start button -> This PC -> right click on Windows (C:) -> Properties -> Disk Cleanup -> Delete Files
    • Start button -> Click on settings -> System -> Storage -> Change how we free up space -> Clean now
